I started, in earnest, to change my diet and exercise habits on 11/5/18. At the time I weighed 300 pounds. In November 2020 my lowest weight was 171 pounds, though the weight I wanted to be at was 175. During the holiday season, I went from 175 up to about 200, and have maintained for the past 10 months at between 185 and 195. My current goal is to be at between 180 and 185. I exercise 5 - 6 days a week. On one of those days, I play golf. On the other days, I ride a recumbent bike for about 90 minutes per day which is about 24 - 26 miles depending on how my knees feel. Since I severely injured my knees several years ago, it is very difficult for me to do any strenuous exercise except walk or ride my bike. Weights more than about 15 pounds are out. However, I do some stretching exercises to keep my muscles, tendons, and ligaments fluid.
