Life is so full of surprises. Today, after my round of golf, I went to a Wendy's to order a hamburger. Generally, I don't eat fastfood hamburgers, but immediate hunger dominated my thoughts. A Wendy's Single was ordered at the drive through, and I received my sandwich. As I pulled away from the window, I took a bite of my Single. To my horrored surprise, my mouth was on fire. I had received a Wendy's Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich. It wasn't the actual amount of heat so much as it was that I was expecting a hamburger. Yes, it was hot, but frankly I've had habenero peppers that were much hotter than the seasoning they put on this sandwich. But, surprises can intensify the moment, and my mouth was heated for the next 8 miles up the interstate. So, I will somehow record a Wendy's Single that was eventually received, and 1 bite of that Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich. Surprise !!
