Your picture says it all. As children we are encouraged to eat, and often more than we want, or is good for us, with praise for finishing what parents put before us. Some of us find it difficult to unlearn those early lessons.

True. When I set my mind for maintenance, I thought I could have foods I ate in my obese days. Wrong. It was those foods that made me obese in the first place. So that was that. Some foods are just obesogenic. One thing I notice now is that pleasure is found in activities instead of food. Food is more or less just a thing to take for hunger, like water is for thirst.
