"When you lose weight, where does it go? Turns out, most of it is exhaled.
In a new study, scientists explain the fate of fat in a human body, and through precise calculations, debunk some common misconceptions. Fat doesn't simply "turn into" energy or heat, and it doesn't break into smaller parts and get excreted, the researchers say."

Probably old news for many but interesting fact for anyone that didn't know how fat is excreted after it gets oxidized.

I’ve read that too. Makes me want to hyperventilate so that it leaves quicker lol. *sigh* if only it worked that way.
I ask really like the liveSTRONG site. Good info there but sometimes they don’t have enough or in-depth enough for me. Great starting point to get you going in the right direction!

Are livestrong and livescience the same? I didn't even know about livescience, I just googled how body fat is lost because I wanted to read about it again.

Nope it’s not the same. LiveSTRONG is just where I read it awhile back. I’ve seen a few articles at livescience but can’t remember exactly what they were ;). Sorry I’m often not very clear getting my thoughts across 😳.

There is a really cool YouTube video about this subject, the guy shows you by exhaling into a balloon then freezes the ballon to show you the mass in your frozen breath. If I remember correctly, 80 something % of your weight is exhaled and I think the rest comes out as water.
