Hovering in the status quo. Doing ok though. A new week is starting and I can go back to diet food. Hubs left Friday & then Dad and I had a weekend road trip to Biloxi. That was fun. I tried to make better food choices. Had a turkey burger at the ballgame and then at IHOP yesterday morning I opted for turkey bacon and sugar free syrup. I ate more protein in the day to try to adjust my sugars for the day.
Hubs and I have been getting along a bit better. That is a blessing. The underlying issues are there but trying not to fixate on them as much; unless it is thrust into my face. I had not brought it up but casually last night via text. He thanked me for loving myself and him to be committed to my weight management & better diet. I said I appreciated his willingness to work on his "health harming faults." That it bothered me daily but I choose not to bring it up because he asked me not to. He just wrote back, "I am doing really good with it." I dropped it after that. I wonder what he considers "really good with it." Perhaps that is an inquiry for a later time. At any rate, I felt some comfort in that.
