I taught my sons, motorcycle yuck - motorcycle yuck, and then as they grow up I would tell them all the terrible things of cars hitting motorcycles.
It worked, my son has a motorcycle yet rarely ride it.😆

One of my BFF (R.I.P.) made me promise, in the early 80's, never to buy a bike. I haven't and I'm not. My big sister, on the other hand, was married to a biker Dennis (R.I.P.), then got engaged to another biker Walt(R.I.P.), and had a biker BFF Big John (R.I.P.). Now, she just has 3 BFF's that are not bikers. Two passed away from cancer. The latter, Big John, was in a traffic accident while he was on his bike and just after 5 minutes of entering the fwy via on ramp, a car hit him. He passed away on the way to the hospital. :...( Be careful out there, dude!

Just bananas, it's not new. I got it in 2015 as a change of pace from my cruiser. It's a 2007 bike but still feels new. It does look like the batmobile, and it's a beast in the road. Lane splitting in LA can be a bit harrowing, but all in all it's a lot of fun.

Siegels, I taught my sons that as both my brothers and brother-in-law and nephew, who races it, all have motorcycles and ride in LA traffic, ahhhh! None have been in accidents. So terrifying if a car crosses your path, please watch out for the jerks out there. Blessings!👍
