Thought my weight would drop some more based on how I've been exercising and eating. Probably too much turkey. I'll stay the course, daily physical therapy, healthy eating below my calorie cap, balance macros, and trust that it will be ok.

A new persona. I'm no longer the oddly fit guy who looks younger than he is. Now I'll need tho define myself in other ways. I've been pouring myself into work 24/7 in order to find that purpose again.

Clearly the neck injury was a blessing in disguise. A second chance to find happiness through meaningful relationships that don't include having to look a certain way. my wife's never cared what I look like, was even annoyed at the focus on fitness. It's a second chance for that relationship as well.

Great post! I get it. I decided to back off on bulking until after Christmas because: A) I need to recognize all the blessings I have had so far B) I don't want to 'raise' the focus on fitness any higher because it takes away from other things.
